Zee Ann Poerio is the K-8 Computer teacher and advisor for the Student Technology Team at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Zee serves as a Teacher Ambassador for Carnegie Mellon University’s CREATE (Community Robotics, Education and Technology Empowerment) Lab which is part of the Robotics Institute at CMU. She also serves on multiple committees for national organizations and projects – the American Classical League, Outreach Director for Ancient Coins for Education, Inc., and as one of two teachers in the U.S. on the Primary Latin Project Committee for the U.K.
Zee’s passion is connecting modern technology with ancient studies. She was honored as the 2014 PAECT (Pennsylvania Association for Educational Communications and Technology) Teacher of the Year and selected to attendee the 2014 Keystone Star Technology Innovator summit. @MagistraZee loves learning, sharing, and presenting at local, state, and national conferences. She looks forward to presenting an IGNITE session at the 2014 ISTE Conference and Expo in Atlanta and at the American Classical League Summer Institute at the College of William & Mary during the summer of 2014.
